Couple of hours at the beach in the hot sun, getting home the minute the skies opened, and now pizza in the oven.

Helping my 5 y/o old Neice with her maths homework, and seeing how much she had improved in just a week. It was so rewarding, and she was full of renewed confidence. have you helped her with the KS1 top 100 High Frequency Words? there are downloads galore. our kids loved them.

It was so rewarding, and she was full of renewed confidence. have you helped her with the KS1 top 100 High Frequency Words? there are downloads galore. our kids loved them. I don't think that i have helped her with them, but she does get lots of 'tricky words' sent home because she is on Advanced Reading, and is also part of a University research project where she learns stuff in French and English. She is actually really intelligent, but struggles a little with her maths, and this has convinced her that she is "stupid". Isn't it sad how even one thing can affect a childs confidence. Thanks for the tip, is there a website that i can go to for these High Frequency words?
