I've just bought a pair of jeans one size smaller than I normally wear. I was actually able to get them on and do them up! Ok, I can't do anything like eat, bend, sit or walk too fast, but it is a great incentive to carry on losing weight.

Now Lent is over, I'm reviewing my progress so far. In a little over 6 weeks, I have lost just over half a stone. I have done this by reducing the amount of carbs I eat 6 days a week. Basically, that meant no bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, or cakes/pastries etc. However, I've still been drinking beer and wine, eating full fat cheese, pate, continental sausages and even chocolate from time to time! i appreciate that this might not be the healthiest of diets, but it's working for me!

How often do you weigh yourself? Do you stick to the recommended once a week or weigh more frequently?

I'm trying to stick to just being weighed once a week at Slimming World, but sometimes curiosity gets the better of me and I weigh myself the day before just to make sure I've had a loss, and if not I still have a day to do something about it!

I've got into the habit of weighing myself first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Don't worry, I've not become obsessed with my weight!
I know that I often don't drink enough (alcohol doesn't count apparently!), and my fancy scales measure my body fluid %, so I use them to keep track and make sure that I'm taking on enough water. However, I have become quite interested in the weight patterns.

Anyone into Clean Eating? I'm trying this out as part of my new healthy regime and am finding it kinda hard, in terms of food costs and motivation! Any tips would be great!

Been doing the raw vegan thing now for a month. I'm not totally vegan as I like milk and eggs and not totally raw either because I don't like raw sprouts or raw quiche. OK, I'm a really BAD raw vegan. But I am quite surprised at how healthy I still am, and when i get a full nights sleep, i have oodles of energy. My body fat is going but im more muscily in places, probably because of the protein powder i use. I'm still a bit dubious of macca powder though. But on the whole i'm impressed with it. Its a good little life style i got going on. Well my body's got going on. My body's got a life of its own whilst i just ramble on the computer.

I am transitioning to veganism. Still getting into it and finishing up the veggie foods I have in freezer. I am very pleased to see that Oreos are vegan! It is something that I am pretty passionate about and am not missing any of the foods I have cut out. Oh wait... I do miss salmon. But hey ho. I'm dealing with it!
