A thread to introduce yourself, whether you're completely new to the Blue Rooms, a returnee with a new name, or just haven't posted since 2002 and everyone's forgotten you, whatever Say hello!

Hello Welcome newbies, not so newbies, and lurkers. I'm sleepytigercub, or stc, I've been involved in the Blue Rooms since 2004 and got persuaded by this rabble to admin the new version when Diva had to let the old room go. Feel free to join in (or not if you prefer to lurk). It's good to have you on board, and I hope you enjoy it here.

I thought he lived in a tunnel, or was that just a temporary abode? I do hope you're not a soap dodger JS/SO. Our friendship would have to end <g>
I just looked at the old br. Apparently I joined in 2004. Blimey. Doesn't time fly..

Hello newbies, oldies and anyone inbetween.
I am also a refugee from the old BR (which I joined in November 2003) I have never shagged a another BR-er altho' I had offers, so subsequently never made THE LIST. (I had Mrs B long before I had the BR which is a blessing in SOOOOOO many ways!)
I'm a grumpy old lezzer that lives in The Shire, I like eating, sleeping and adventures.
I love labels and stereotypes and hate cats.
I am a miserable optimist and an armchair revolutionary.
My favourite colour is red, my favourite textile is fleece or neoprene depending on the occasion, my favourite cheese has marmite in it, I sleep on the right side of the bed (as you are lying in it not looking at it) my affections can be bought with coffee, chocolate and cake or a selection of these things.
Thank you for your time.
DB

I also joined the old BR (which used to be called the new BR) in 2004.
I'm from Brussels but have lived in London since 1999.
My favourite meal is pizza, my favourite food is meringue. My favourite fruit is raspberry. My favourite city is New York. My favourite sport is skiing.

I too am an old BR'er. I was naughty so they kicked me out...and I promise to be good this time. I used to be DD and then greenbean and one other...but I can't say who.
I am from Kent, via Plymouth, Manchester, Kent, Plymouth, Leeds and now Harrogate.
I like elipsis, vodka, cheese with Guiness in it (actually all cheese), the beach, driving fast and chilli. I don't like snakes (even if they are allegedly cats), spiders, blamange (is that how it is spelt?), tiles under bare feet or snow.
I am responsible for s.a.m joining the BR...I pestered her until she gave up resisting...this forms the very basis of our rather long friendship.

I'm DJ and I joined the BR in 2000.
I'm a North Walian but have lived in mid Wales sheep-country for so long that I can now tell one breed of sheep from another at a distance of 100 yards.

Do you ever need to use it? and can it be taught...was thinking it might come up on a pub quiz one day?

. I pestered her until she gave up resisting...this forms the very basis of our rather long friendship. Hmm. You could rephrase that madam. Tsk But she did persuade me to join up. That bit's true <g>
