Hello. I'm fairly new. I lurked on the old board but never joined. I thought I would join this one, but I haven't thought of anything interesting to say yet. Hopefully that will come with time.
I'm 28. I'm a manager at a charity. Going through a quarter life crisis at the moment. So, yeah.

That was the plan. They're probably all too scared to say hello now if they haven't sh*gged at least 6 other BR'ers. I haven't shagged another BRer (apart from Maxxibabe - my ex - but we were together long before I found the BR so we didn't *meet* on the BR although we were both members at one point - ain't seen her on it for ages though) |

34-26-34, 5ft4, brown with 3 grey strands of hair, green - brown eyes..........oh sorry its not THAT kind of vital statistics thread.
Have been on the BR since 2009, live with gf and 2 kids. Have 3 cats and a stray which keeps following me around. I used to work in accounts and was a dance teacher but now I stay and home and look after the family. I love books and have hundreds of them, i would say im a bit alternative, and like marmite, you will either love me, or hate me.

I'm keebo, joined the old BR when it started in 2000, and was on the "dark blue rooms" which was around before that, since 1996 or 1997.
I joined originally to ask for friends to go to LGBT events with, back in the day. I'm still happily married to my homeboy and have a grown up daughter.
I'm trying to change career/go back to studying (great timing, huh?) and move into helping carers or people with dementia. In the meantime I work in education.

I'm old enough to know better, but still carry on regardless... Since Manu has disappeared, I am probably the senior citizen in here. Used my own name which was dumb with much hindsight - Avvie.
Joined the BR in 2002 after I was made redundant - slight culture shock initially - people drinking cuastic (sick) and seeing each other in cuort (ditto) and shouting in CAPITALS. But its surprising what you can get used to.
Queen of chicken soup.
Enjoy: reading - everything I can get my hands on - history, fiction, the world, the universe and everything. My children & grandsons & especially lovely partner. Friends. Work in EHS. Reading the paper, and chicken soup. Not necessarily in this order.
Don't like: spam; marmite; gratuitous unkindness. Osteo Arthritis. Missing: Paris; Sandra; My Auntie and others.
Became moderator at some point - Atropos, but less of that.... draws veil quickly. I probably have at least 7.
Glad to see BR revitalised, and glad to see so many of you still knocking about.

OK
I'm glossy and from old new br joined 2000 when my life was in dire need of a place to sound off about my boss who was awful to me.She got the bullet in 2005 but I stayed around in BR cos it became my surrogate family until I "left home" a couple of years ago.
I live and work in Glasgow
I am quite old too (not as old as manu was right enough)
I have been to and hosted many BR meets
thanks to STC for getting this off the ground (are you coming up soon?)
I like cloudy cider and could do with one just now
I have split ends and that aint pretty on dreadlocks
