I am now the size of a small house. Restraint/dieting are not working as I'm so busy with the new business and often stressed to the gills. So, in an effort to curb by ongoing weight gain and to make me mindful/conscious of what goes in my mouth on a daily basis, I'm proposing to list here every day what I've eaten. This will hopefully embarrass or motivate me enough to begin to lose weight. Any support or br's who want to jump on this wagon with me, feel free. Please keep comments kind though x

Ooh, may I join you in recording my attempt to eat seven portions of fruit and veg, only have two coffees a week and avoiding added sugar, sweeteners and MSG? I hope this works for you. When I was successfully loosing weight I found my daily log-in to the wii fit very helpful. Sadly I fear I may have put half of my weight back on, slowly at first, then faster over winter and for the last two month I have been the least active I can ever remember. My present focus is to heal myself by upping nutrients/vitamines and reducing harmful chemicals so that I can become more active. Yesterday I managed seven portions but today after burning my tea I have managed only three! Good luck

Duncan, hope on board. I too started losing weight successfully by logging on on line, and hopefully, by being "accountable" to people who know me, might make me take this seriously. Good luck x

i think this needs to be moved into Health & Support
don't eat your profits Garfield there's a start and log as you eat to see if a pattern forms. when was the last time you were actually hungry? and i mean hungry not just eating because its what you do at that time of day. get back to your roots and rewrite your body clock.
eat healthy, don't diet.

Oops! Shoulda put it in there in the first place. Sorry and thanks :-)
De, I agree that I need to start eating sensibly and when I'm hungry, not starving because I haven't eaten all day, so pig out, or continually grazing. That's why I want to do this, so I can see patterns etc. I have to taste my products as I make them (every batch!) but it's chucked my normal eating out of wack, so by doing this, initially to see what and how much, I then hope to be able to tweak it back into line with my normal, or at least be aware during stress times. Getting a handle on it is what I'm aiming for at the moment. Thanks chic x

I manage 9 portions of fruit and veg today already without particularly trying but I did go to the supermarket yesterday so there is plenty to choose from. No coffee and worst sugar was raisins.
How is today going garfield?

Was thinking the same DE when read what they eaten, potato bread and noodles not good in one day.
I don't always have potatoes just veg, try not to eat bread either as too bloats and makes you have colds and stifles.
Pasta good if your like to keep fit lots. :-)
