interesting. at 19 I bounced out the closet as bi and that swiftly turned into gay. I then spent the next 9 years in long term relationships with women with the occasional boy thrown in for good measure....and all that time I identified (as much as I could) with being a lesbian/gay woman. However, I never ever said it would be the be all and end all for me and I never ruled out having a relationship with a man...and hence my posts about the boy wonder. Am I still a lesbian? Well if being a lesbian means I have sexual attraction to women and physical attraction then yes. However, I know lots of people that would say I am bisexual rather than gay/lesbian. To be honest, I don't know WHAT I am anymore other than human with attraction to both men and women - not always equally and not always at the same stage in life. Right now I am trying to make a go of a sort of relationship with the boywonder....and it is as hard as trying to make a go of it with a girl. Turns out all that Men are from Mars gumph is just that.....gumph.

I'd say it was over.... well whatever it was, it's not anymore. We had a discussion this morning after it was clear that things were a'changing. He doesn't know what he wants but neither of us are prepared to give up on our very hard worked at friendship. I'm bruised and sore (and thats not the back) and rather fragile again...despite it not being an actual proper relationship it was lovely. The one saving grace is that we have not lost our friendship...that would have been more devastating than anything. But it confirms that I am indeed bi and probably not as gay as I thought...and I like that. This is me...and I quite like me.

this is something i've never done as an ADULT. all i know is men wear LYNX and i don't like the smell of LYNX, it make my nostril hair curl. i feel sorry for the boy when he gets older coz i'm gonna hide bunches of sweet smelling roses in his boxer draw and put itching powder in his shower gel.
do men fart alot like they are portrayed to do so? do they put on clean socks and pants everyday? does a man know what cleaning is?

The boy I was seeing....again, all of the above. Completely houseproud and not ashamed, a non lynx wearer. Men get a bad rep...they are not all neanderthal idiots and they are not all a lost cause. Honest.

I was simply saying that the men I know, both family and non-family are not the typical lynx wearing idiots that the stereotype seems to portray.

Most lesbians I know couldn't care less whether men are a 'lost cause' or not, or that their delightful armpits really smell like the first morning dew.
