don't get disheartened bluecoast, it could be loads of reasons...your period, wet hair, different clothes, constipation or just the normal weekly variations in weight !
and if it's a true gain, its only a pound and you can shift it easily once you put your mind to it

I want to lose 3 st but I'm giving myself a goal of one stone at a time. thats a good way to do it, its less daunting that way. I aim to lose a stone before i go away in June, if i lose more than that then thats great, but i'm not going on an all out diet. I aim to do more walking and generally just getting fitter.

I'm fat, horrible fat hate it need to get my act together. Starting on Monday, we usually do low fat but have found low carb works better

Ooh yay! I was really worried that it would be no loss this week after the initial good start. However, we've both lost 3 pounds each. *proudface*. And I'm actually quite enjoying this whole eat less, move around more thing.

Hmm I did very well all week but have been pigging all weekend including my own weight in chocolate (a 'present for Merc' from Switzerland hehe) and about a whole huge pot of delish creamy cheesy pasta Merc made last night. Oh well I can always start again tomorrow.

I just ate a virtuous salad, washed down with fresh orange juice. I smugly refused a beer, but crumbled at the offer of dessert.

?st 08 llbs ~ 2 pounds off, total loss is - 7.5 llbs !

well, I've just weighed myself on the unreliable scales, and in spite of it being my fat week, and eating bad stuff, they say I'm back to 10st 10lbs.

and I've just double checked, and I've lost a couple of pounds in a few hours! Maybe i should sleep some more? Or just get new scales!
